(1) Upon admission, Japanese students are, in principle, required to enroll in Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research (Gakkensai) and Personal Liability Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research (Futaibaiseki) *. International students are required to enroll in Personal Accident Insurance for Students Pursuing Education and Research (Gakkensai) and Personal Liability Insurance for Students (Gakubai).
For details regarding the scope of coverage and other information, please refer to the pamphlets available on the “Insurance requirements for Kyoto University students” page of the university website, and ensure that you complete all enrollment procedures by Monday, March 30.
* Japanese undergraduate students of Medical Science at the Faculty of Medicine are required to enroll in Futaigakuso instead of Futaibaiseki.
