本授業の目的は、学習生活を送るうえで必要となる、会話能力の習得である。このために、次の練習を行う。1)自分について非公式に話す。2）物の様子や状況を説明する。3）論理的に話す。

The purpose of this course is to develop conversation skills for study in Japan. Students will learn to 1) talk about their Self-introduction in informal settings, 2) explain about things, circumstances, 3) speak logically.

本授業の到達目標は、以下の通りである。
・JLPT N2/CEFR B2レベル相当に到達する。
・自分の関心のある分野に関連した、広範囲な話題について、明確かつ詳細に記述、プレゼンテーションができる。事項を補足しながら、関連事例を挙げて、主張を強化、展開することができる。
・はっきりとした議論を展開できる。補助的観点や関連事例を詳細に補足し、自分の見解を展開し、話を続けることができる。
・関連説明、論拠、コメントを述べることによって、議論で自分の意見を説明したり、維持したりできる。
・言語化する際に深刻な誤りを犯すことなく、いろいろな場面で自分自身の述べたいことを表現することができる。

日本語中級Ⅱ8Hコースは「話す・聞く・読む・書く」の四技能を総合的に向上させながら、中級後半から上級へとつながる日本語能力を養うことを目的としたものである。本コースは文法・作文(1)、文法・作文(2)、聴解・会話並びに読解・総合学習を学習項目とし、週4回開講される4クラスから構成されている。

This integrated course aims to develop an all round ability of Japanese at the upper intermediate level, focusing on reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. It consists of four sessions per week, taking up 1) grammar and composition (1) , 2) grammar and composition (2), 3) listening comprehension and conversation practice and 4) reading comprehension and over all practice respectively.

This is an integrated course offered as a sequence of 4 class sessions per week designed for students who have completed Elementary Japanese. The purpose of the course is for students to develop their overall Japanese language skills at the lower intermediate level, focusing on conversation, listening, reading, and writing. Students will also reinforce the skills learned at the elementary level so they can be put to practical use.

日本語中級Ⅱ（6Hコース）は、「聞く・読む・書く」の3技能を向上させながら、中級前半から上級へとつながる、中級後半の日本語能力を養うことを目的としている。
本コースは、週3クラス（3日間）の授業で構成されている。一週間で(1)文法 (2)読解・作文 (3)聴解・会話を行い、中級後半レベルの日本語能力の定着を図る。

This integrated course aims to develop an all-round ability of Japanese at the upper intermediate level, focusing on reading, listening and writing skills. It consists of three sessions per week, taking up 1) Grammar, 2) Reading comprehension and composition, 3) Listening comprehension and conversation.

次のことができるようになることを目指す。
1. 新聞記事、随筆などの様々なジャンルの文章が理解できる読解力の習得
2. 的確な構成の、説得力のある文章を作成できる程度の文章力の習得
3. 中級後半レベルの文法を実践的に使える運用力の習得
4. JLPT N2／CEFR B2 レベル相当の日本語運用力の習得

Course goals are as follows.
1. To develop reading comprehension abilities sufficient for understanding various written materials such as newspaper articles and essays.
2. To develop composition abilities necessary for composing well-formed and well-argued essays.
3. To develop practical skills in upper-intermediate level grammar.

中級レベルのテキストを読むために必要な能力をやしなう。授業では、いろいろなトピックのテキストを読むだけでなく、かんたんな文法、言葉、表現を使いながら、トピックに関する意見を言う練習もおこなう。
The main goal of this course is for students to acquire reading comprehension skills necessary for understanding intermediate level texts. In this class, students will be required not only to read texts on various topics but also to express their own opinion on the topics introduced in each lesson by using basic grammar, vocabulary and expressions.

・中級レベルのテキストの内容や言いたいことを理解できる。
・かんたんな言葉や表現を使って他の人と意見を交換できる。
・日本語能力試験N3レベル/CEFR B1に相当するレベルを達成する。

この授業は、読解力を向上させながら、上級へとつながる日本語能力を養うことを目的としている。語彙や文法の知識を習得するだけに止まらず、自分自身の内容把握について話し合い、考えるという過程を踏み、正確な読解能力の習得に導くことができるようになる。また、その過程で学生自らの意見を述べることができるようになることを目指す。

The purpose of this class is for students to raise their reading skills to an advanced level. Students will not simply learn vocabulary and grammar, but will also acquire reading comprehension abilities through discussion of the content of the reading assignments. Through the discussions, students will also learn to articulate their own opinions on various topics.

教材の内容を正確に把握し、自らのことばで再構築できるようになる。
トピックで論じられた問題を学生自らの問題として捉え、考えを深める。
その問題について、自分の意見を述べることができるようになる。

【メディア授業科目】

The purpose of this course is to develop the writing skills to study in Japan. We will learn the styles and language format appropriate for academic writing, as well as the structure building of a text. Course participants actually write essays on various topics bases on each study item.

この授業は、次の四つのパートに分かれている。

2.　ディクテーション：N2/N3レベルの文法の例文を聞いて、漢字語を書く
3.　部首、形声文字など漢字についての知識を得る
4.　教科書を参考に、漢字と漢字語を増やす
これらの練習を通して、自分で漢字学習を進めるために必要な力を身につける。また、200字以上の漢字を新たに学び、それらを使った言葉（600〜1,200語）の習得を目的とする。

This course is designed to help students develop a solid foundation for successful Kanji learning through these four activities.
In each class students will 1) take a review quiz, 2) take dictation of Kanji words while listening to N2/N3-level sentences, 3)deepen knowledge on Kanji such as radicals and phonetic markers of Kanji, and 4) enrich Kanji vocabulary through exercises in the textbook.
By the end of this course, students will become familiar with more than 200 new Kanji characters and 600 to 1,200 Kanji words.

・Students are required to practice and review Kanji characters and Kanji vocabulary that they study in class every week.
・Although reviewing how to write and pronounce Kanji is essential, it is equally important to review how to use those Kanji words in context.

1. 大学生活で必要な聞き取りの能力、特に、自然なスピードの日常会話や、比較的短い解説などを聞き取れるようになることを目的とする。

The purpose of this course is for students to enhance listening comprehension skills necessary for college life, especially understanding natural speed conversations and relatively short commentary.

2. 聴解教材を使用し、聞き取りの訓練を行う。聞いた事の書き取りに重点を置いて授業を行い、場面に応じた効果的な聴解ができるようになることを目指す。

The class will use audio materials to practice listening comprehension. It will focus on dictation and aim to help students become effective in listening comprehension depending on the situation.

到達目標：
・場面の目的に応じた効果的な聴解ができ、その聴解を基礎に、説明をしたり意見が言えるようになる
・JLPT N2/CEFR B2レベル相当程度の聴解力の習得を目指す。

Course goals are as follows：
・To be able to listen effectively and in a manner suitable to a given situation and purpose. To be able to explain briefly and give opinions based on the listening assignment.
・To attain a level of proficiency equivalent to the JLPT N2/CEFR B2 level.

各回、日本の社会や文化に関する説明を聞き取り、その内容を確認する。必要に応じてJLPT N2の練習問題も行う。
We will listen to short descriptions about society and culture in Japan and check the contents to deepen our understanding. We will also cover practice exercises in preparation for the JLPT N2 exam as needed to improve listening skills.

日本で日常生活を送る中で出会いそうなさまざまな話題について、モノローグおよびダイアローグを聞きとる練習をする。また、そこから得た情報を他者に伝える練習もする。それらを通して、聴解力を高め、語彙力増強もめざす。
In this class, students will listen to monologues and dialogues portraying daily life in Japan and current Japanese society. Then students will reconstruct the information they obtain and practice conveying it to others. Through these activities, students will improve their listening ability, and widen their vocabulary.

・日本で生活する上で出会う一般的な話題について標準語で話されたものを聞いて、正確に理解できるようになる。

【メディア授業科目】

日本語中級IA(4Hコース)は「話す・聞く・読む・書く」の四技能を総合的に向上させながら、初級で学んだことを応用し、中級前半から中級後半へとつながる日本語能力を養うことを目的としている。

本コースは週2コマの授業である。今学期（前期）は、『みんなの日本語 中級I本冊』の1課から６課まで学習する。二週間で(1)語彙の導入と文法練習(2)文法練習(3)話す・聞く練習 (4)読解を行い、中級レベルの日本語能力の定着を図る。

This is an integrated course offered as a sequence of 2 class sessions per week designed for students who
have completed Elementary Japanese. The purpose of the course is for students to develop their overall Japanese language skills at the lower intermediate level, focusing on conversation, listening, reading, and writing. Students will also reinforce their skills learned at the elementary level so they can be put to practical use.

The class will meet once a week (for 2 sessions). This semester, we will study from Lesson 1 to Lesson 6 in “Minna no Nihongo Intermediate I”.
Every two weeks, we will (1) introduce new vocabulary and grammar practice
(2) grammar practice (3) improve conversation and listening comprehension
(4) practice reading.

・初級で学んだ語彙・文型を使って、聞く、話す、読む、書くことが自由にできるようになる。
・中級レベルのある程度まとまった内容の理解ができるようになる。
・一般的な話題について、正確に理解でき、根拠を示しながら意見を述べることができるようになる。
