将来、活躍の場を日本国内に限ることなく、世界に広げていけるような英語をできる人を育成するための基礎的な英語知識と言語取得が目的とする。
最新かつ最先端の有益な情報を入手するため欠くことのできない英語の知識や言語取得をそれぞれの将来の必要性（Need Analysis）に基づき、学びまた体得できる機会を提供する。
行動変容は医療分野だけでなく様々な分野で使用されている。英語を読みながら、自分なりに例を考え、しっかりと内容を理解する。英語の配布資料も提供し、短時間でいかに内容把握でき、英語でまとめて発表することを可能にする授業とする。

毎回できる限りinteractiveに英語を読み、理解し、話す機会を提供する。単なる訳読力を養うだけではなく、内容にこだわり現状等をかいまみる機会をつくりながら、リーディング力を伸ばすことを行う。教科書や配布資料等を読解しながら、summaryを英語で発表、また、一般なトピックに関するディスカッションを行うことで、英語運用力を高める授業を実施する。
履修者は授業以外で、web等興味のある情報を入手し、積極的に簡単なプレゼンテーションができるようにまとめることを必須とする。

アカデミックリーディング

この授業では英文を読解する能力を高めていくことを目標とする。語学的な面での向上を図るだけではなく、論文の持つ緻密で高度な論理構成を把握する力をつける。現代の主要な社会問題を扱った論説文を教材として用いて、一つの論文を数回かけて丁寧に読んでいく。

英文の意味を正確に読み取ることにとどまらず、英語論文によく用いられる表現やレトリック、論理構成を学び、今後英語論文を読んでいく、あるいは書いていくための素地を作る。また現代の社会問題について理解を深める。この授業を通じて、単に文の意味を取るということにとどまらず、criticalに読んでいく姿勢を身に付けることをめざす。

第1回 イントロダクション　教材を配布し、今後の授業の進め方について説明する。
第2-4回 英文記事の講読① [人権]　以降は配布した英語論文を毎回数ページ程度を目安に読み進めていく。

For the development of students' skills in English for General Academic Purposes (EGAP), English Writing-Listening A (EWLA) consists of three components: writing, listening, and vocabulary.

For practice with writing, students identify, recognize, or understand basic elements of academic writing and, then, recall and apply this knowledge in the process of organizing and revising a short academic essay of at least 300 words. Under the guidance of the instructor they learn necessary foundational academic writing skills as stated in the Course Goal section below.

For practice with listening, students take the online course known as GORILLA (Global Online Resources for International Language Learning Assistance) outside class. They are assessed on their listening proficiency through weekly online assignments, as well as the four tests that the instructor administers in class.

For vocabulary learning, students use the standard reference book titled “Kyoto University Vocabulary Database 1110.” Like the listening component, students independently study words from the general academic list that the instructor assigns (usually 50 words a week) and are tested on a number of these words weekly.

By the end of this course, students will acquire the following skills at varying levels. Students should be able to:
- Recognize and use basic academic words in English
- Process general academic discourse presented aurally
- Identify the locations, functions, and features of the standard elements of essay introduction paragraphs (i.e., hook, topic statements, general statements and thesis statement) and apply this knowledge to write suitable introduction paragraphs for short academic essays
- Identify the locations, functions, and features of the standard elements of body paragraphs (i.e., topic sentence, supporting sentences, detail sentences, concluding sentence) and apply this knowledge to write suitable body paragraphs for short academic essays
- Identify the locations, functions, and features of the standard elements of conclusion paragraphs (i.e., summary of main points, final statement) and apply this knowledge to write suitable conclusion paragraphs for short academic essays

２　授業時間だけでは、フランス語の文法をマスターすることはできない。第２課からは、授業時間外にもネット上でも自律学習する。ひとつの課につき教室外でも６０分から９０分の自律学習をする必要がある。
３ 授業は、CALL教室で教師とともにする学習と教室外でする自律学習のブレンデッド形式で行う。
４　授業開始の２週間を除いて、毎回１課ずつ進み、各課の終了後に小テストを行う。小テストは自己採点し、その結果の自己分析と学習過程に関するポートフォリオも毎回作成する。

3 授業は、CALL教室で教師とともにする学習と教室外でする自律学習のブレンデッド形式で行う。
4 毎回1課ずつ進み、各課の終了後に小テストを行う。小テストは自己採点し、その結果の自己分析と学習過程に関するポートフォリオも毎回作成する。

評価は、3回の試験と確認練習・Exerciceに基づいておこない、第1回の授業で説明します。

授業では、教科書の他に各自上記のサイトからダウンロードした教材 (サブノート形式の補助教材と確認練習解答用紙)を使う。
授業時間外にもネット上でも自律学習する。ひとつの課につき教室外でも６０分から９０分の自律学習をする必要がある。

この授業は昨年度の後期に行われたフランス語IB実習クラスの再履修クラスである。5つのコミュニケーションの技能(読解、聴解、記述、口述とそれらを使ったやり取り)をバランス良く磨きつつ、ごく基本的なフランス語能力(CEFRLのＡ1＋レベル)を身に付けることを目的とする。また言葉の背後にあるフランス文化についても学ぶ。

１−フランス語でのごく基本的な日常会話ができるようになり、状況に応じて自分の希望や意見を簡単に述べられるようになる。またごく身近な話題(趣味、勉強、関心のあるものなど)について簡単なプレゼンテーションができるようになる。
２−非常によく用いられる、日常的、もしくは自分の勉強に関連する言葉で書かれた、具体的で身近な事柄なら、短い簡単なテクストが理解できる。
３−自分の周りにある日々のいろいろな事柄、例えば、人物、場所、バイトや勉強について、つながりのある文を書けるようになる。
４−ごく基本的な文法と語彙をある程度の正確さで使えるようになる。
５−外国語の勉強にあたって書くまた話す時の滑らかさを可能にするいくつかストラテジーが使えるようになる。

グループワーク、ペアワークを中心にした会話の練習、読解・朗読の練習、また簡単なメールの書き方の練習を教室で行ない、日常生活で使われる基本的なレベルの口頭・筆記フランス語コミュニケーション能力を身につける。また次のようなテーマについて、各1-3回の授業で取り上げる。

フランス語の運用能力を身につけた度合いを、授業中に行う日常評価　(ミニプロジェクト、動画作成、筆記の課題) と参加度(70%)、および口頭期末試験(30%)によって評価する。

外国語学習の初級段階では、予習よりも高頻度の復習が重要である。教材の音声のMP3形式ファイルを使用し、授業で使った会話のモデルやフレーズを繰り返し聞き、発話の練習をすること。授業で書いた文章を繰り返し読み、書き、また展開することにより高いレベルの習得が可能になる。

演習の授業なので毎回の出席と授業への積極的な参加が求められる。

本授業は中国語ⅠB（文法）の再履修者を対象としたクラスであり、中国語の基礎を固め、異文化への理解を深めることを目的とする。

期末テスト50%、平常点50%（課題、授業態度等）で評価する。

毎回授業前に音声を聴いて音読練習をすること。新出語句を調べ、教科書本文の意味を理解してから授業に臨むこと。

本授業は、初めて中国語を学ぶ学生を対象にしたものであり、簡単なスキットと初歩的な文法事項を段階的に学びながら、読む、書く、聞く、話すといった能力を身につけてゆく。この授業では特に発音練習、聞き取り練習を重視し、中国語の運用能力を伸ばしてゆくことを目的とする。文法の授業と連携したかたちで、授業をすすめる。

中国語の発音体系を充分に理解した上で、基本的な中国語の聞き取り能力と表現能力とを身につける。北京などを舞台としたスキットを題材としつつ、広く中国の文化に対する理解を深める。

この講義はフィードバック（方法は別途連絡する）を含む全15回で行う。
最初の３回の授業では、テキストの「発音編」に基づきながら、中国語の表音システムであるピンイン（ローマ字綴り）の学習を通じて中国語の発音体系のあらましを習得する。
その後、テキストの「本文編」とその「練習問題」を利用しつつ、正確な発音や基本的な聞き取り能力の養成、表現力の習得を目指す。前期は発音編と本文編第九課までを学びながら、特に、基本的な文章をきちんと発音し、また聞き取れるようになることをめざす。原則として1回の授業で本文編１課分を学習する。
　なお、Web上にも教材や練習問題の音声を置き、履修生には24時間自由なアクセスを認め、その自学自習を支援する。
本授業は、所定の文法の授業と連携して行われるため、かならずセットで履修しなければならない。
この授業だけの履修は原則として認められない。各回において学ぶ内容（発音事項・文法事項）は次のようである。授業では、これらの文法事項を用いた文や会話の聞き取りを行い、その内容に対する質問に中国語で答える練習をも行う。

原則として定期試験80％、平常点20％で評価する。詳細については授業の最初の時間に説明する。
中国語の正しい発音の修得、および基本的な語彙・文型の聞き取り能力とそれらを用いた表現能力の修得とが評価の基準となる。

Web上に教材や練習問題の音声を置く。24時間自由にアクセスできるので、必ず授業前に発音・聞き取りの練習をしておくこと。また、練習問題が宿題となることもある。必ず復習とともに練習問題等の課題を行うこと。

最初の授業において紹介する。

　共通・教養科目としてのスペイン語コースの目的は、スペイン語学習を通じて、現代世界の中での自分の位置を確認することです。
　「教養」とは、世界における自分の位置を知るための地図です。学習を通じて各自が作り上げていく「教養」地図の一部を、スペイン語学習を通じて構成していきます。また、地図だけがあっても、現在地がわかっていなければ、人生の道のりを考えることができません。現在地をつかむため、スペイン語圏の社会や文化を参照しつつ、自分という存在を社会的に認識するという作業も行います。スペイン語圏は地理的に広範囲にまたがると同時に、内部に大きな文化的・言語的・社会的・歴史的多様性を抱えています。したがって、自分という存在を相対化するために適切な「なにか」がみつかる可能性も比較的高いと言えるでしょう。そうした特徴を活用しつつ、「教養」地図に自分の現在地を書き込み、自分の将来についても考えてみましょう。

表現の置き換え練習を繰り返し、ドイツ語の発音と文法を身体に定着させます。空欄だらけのダイアログを音読する練習などを通じて、ドイツ語が口を衝いて出る状態を目指します。

平常点6割、中間試験1割、期末試験3割で成績に反映させる。成績は偏差値を元に算出する(満点方式ではない)。評価方法については授業内で複数回説明する。評価においては相手に伝わる発音・発声であることを重視する。

授業内での発声の機会は限られます。自宅などで口馴らし練習を徹底して行いましょう。

質問や指摘は授業後ではなく、すぐに言ってください。授業後では、全体で共有すべき内容であったときに不都合があります。

マルティン・ブーバーが若い日にドイツ語での語り直しという形で伝えたハシディズムの物語『バアル・シェムの伝説』から2篇程度をドイツ語で読むことで、ドイツ語の高度な読解能力を養うとともに、東ヨーロッパのユダヤ人がかつて生きていた文化に触れることによって、受講生が異質な文化にたいする鋭い感性を身に付けるようにする。

ハシディズムの物語『バアル・シェムの伝説』から2篇程度の物語をドイツ語で読むことをつうじて、受講生が高度なドイツ語の読解能力を身に付けるとともに、東ヨーロッパにおいてユダヤ人が生きていた異質な文化にたいする鋭い感性を身に付けることを目的とする。
