Accepting international students from abroad and sending local students overseas is a pressing task for Kyoto University. In order to promote both inbound and outbound student mobility, we need to provide the necessary courses and support systems.
In April 2016, the Education Center for Japanese Language and Culture was established under the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences, we are eager to develop an environment for unified implementation of Japanese language education and courses on Japanese society and culture for international students, intake of international students taking courses offered by the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences, support for Kyoto University students planning to study abroad, and other related activities.
